BEdita 3.1.alpha released

On May 07, 2010 the general public availability of the first alpha of BEdita 3.1 – code name “ulmus” (*) – has been announced.

BEdita 3.1 includes many bug fixes and new features, among others:

• versioning
• cuncurrent edit handling
• autosave on draft documents
• multimedia objects linked directly to the publication hierarchic tree

Moreover, BEdita modules may now be built as CakePHP plugins and so handled through the Admin module
A "sample plugin module" is bundled in the downloadable package: once installed use the Admin page to (de)activate it.
